Senior Graphics Designer

Job Description

NAOVI is seeking a Senior Graphics Designer to assist the government with the following task:

Primary responsibilities:

  • ALL candidates are REQUIRED to Currently Possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI w/CI polygraph for consideration of this position.
  • Leads support to the government agency to develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
  • Mentors and trains junior staff.
  • Utilizes request management tools such as NarQuest to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests.
  • Coordinates with UI/UX designer, Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user friendly experience.
  • Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.
  • Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online.
  • Ensures products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances.
  • Conducts technical quality checks.
  • Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles.
  • Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps.

Education and Experience:

  • BS with 18 years of experience in web designs, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, editing, etc. working in the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • MS with 10 years of experience in web designs, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, editing, and relevant work experience within the Intelligence Community (IC).
