Scrum Master

Job Description

NAOVI is seeking a Scrum Master who serves as a secondary POC to the customer regarding oversight of all software and infrastructure project efforts. The Scrum Master shall work with the management team to manage the demand of work for development teams, report to stakeholders on team status, and communicate internally and externally to mission partners.

Required Scrum Master Skills:

  • All candidates will need to currently possess an Active TSSCI w/FS polygraph for consideration of this position. Required
  • Currently our company Does Not offer clearance sponsorships for any of our positions.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience leading an Agile development team.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience working with senior level customers for status updates and prioritization.
  • Demonstrated experience running daily team scrum meetings.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with using Jira for managing backlogs, portfolios, products, and sprints.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience putting together sprint plans.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience putting together weekly reports.
  • Demonstrated experience working with project teams to determine or project work scope and level of effort to produce a t-shirt size for the associated work.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job ability to monitor the progress of multiple concurrent and highly visible projects and requirements with the ability to recommend or take required corrective actions; to perform risk identification and management; and to communicate effectively with the customer, stakeholder, and project team.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating test resources and deployments with other groups.
  • Demonstrated experience working with reporting system for notifying system status and to seek approval for deployment to production.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with leading and managing enterprise level projects that have a multi-disciplinary cross-organizational project team from start to end using the agency’s Project Management Framework (PMF) and Agile Project Management methodology.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with managing multiple concurrent projects, short deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience identifying programmatic challenges, risks, and constraints coupled with a strong ability to convey well-thought mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience managing a project through the accreditation process using ICD-503 and receiving ATO.

Other Relevant Scrum Master Technologies/Tools:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, Lean Agile environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with government IT systems, missions, and strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating with senior customers, senior management, and implementation partners.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining JIRA tickets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing top line charts, sprint burn-up charts and sprint goals.
